The last two weeks have flown by as I've been packing and sorting, tossing and Goodwill-ing. And not only are the boxes piling up ... so is the tension! How on earth will I get all this done in one week?
I've got little time to write, but wanted to ask you all for tips on how to get through this stressful period. Got any tips for a 12-hour road trip in a moving truck, pulling a car trailer and three goats? Please help! And let's not forget the unloading, sorting and unpacking that will follow.
In all the chaos and stress don't forget to enjoy the journey! Even in times like these there are moments to stop and be thankful for.

Rescue Remedy. For you AND the goats. Buy it at a food co-op or health food store; some Wal-Marts even handle it nowadays. John can fly (well, at least in a plane) if he takes Rescue Remedy. That says a lot. Try it! :o)
ReplyDeleteI love Rescue Remedy, but I think it's really just a shot of alcohol! :) Smells that way, anyway.
ReplyDeleteThere is always UPS or USPS for some stuff if the truck get's too overloaded. Having redeployed from Operation Iraqi Freedom late last year, I know we shipped a lot of stuff that wouldn't fit in our bags. The goat part? That might be a bit tougher, take pictures of them at the rest stops!
